Bonnie Blue are a Jacksonville jam band: twin guitars, keys and a rhythm section that sits well back in the pocket, running Southern rock into long improvisation. The reference points are Widespread Panic, Gov’t Mule, the Allman Brothers, The Band and the Dead, and the reputation is built on the live show rather than the records.
They have shared stages with Butch Trucks, John Popper and Bobby Lee Rodgers, and played Wanee, Magnolia Fest and Suwannee Rising. Two albums so far: No Lookin’ Back in 2017 and No Time to Lose in 2024.
