Jacoozy and Wax Monkey ***Standing Show*** at Blue Jay
Friday, December 4, 2026 · 8:00 PM · Blue Jay Listening Room · 18+
Jacoozy came out of the house show scene in Boone, North Carolina in 2021, mixing Southern rock and jam with whatever else is in the room, and they make a point of playing live without studio tricks underneath.
Wax Monkey are a five-piece from Birmingham, Alabama: childhood friends who started jamming in high school and made it a band in 2023 at the University of Alabama. The Dead, Phish and the Allmans are the obvious ancestors.
This one is a standing show. Doors at 7, music at 8.
