Lonesome Frontier is a new collaboration between three songwriters who usually front their own bands: Danielle Howle, long a fixture of the Columbia indie folk scene, Barb Carbon of Atlanta’s the Aint Sisters, and Josh Roberts of Josh Roberts and the Hinges.
The format is a writer’s round. Each takes the lead on their own songs, new ones and the lesser-known ones, while the other two fill in harmony and whatever instrument the song needs.
Doors at 7, music at 8.
