Slap Dragon at Blue Jay
Sunday, December 6, 2026 · 8:00 PM · Blue Jay Listening Room · 18+
Slap Dragon started when bassist Scott Mulvahill and vocalist Laura Berens began writing together in the summer of 2023. The result puts soul singing over acoustic instruments played by Nashville session musicians, landing somewhere between bluegrass, disco and R&B.
They played their first show in Nashville in June 2024 and were at Bonnaroo soon after, with a clip of “Already Won” passing 260,000 views. A Kickstarter in late 2025 funded their debut album, Mission Statement.
Doors at 7, music at 8.
